Professional and corporate profiles:retired weapons™ (www.retired.jp) is a design project launched by Yuji Tokuda (art director) andJunya Ishikawa (producer) with a wish to spread peace around the world. The project has beengrowing with fellow members and participants from around the world.Messages wishing for world peace are creatively expressed through various channels: graphics,movies, events, website, cellular phone contents, dialogue, cakes, goods, etc.In 2005, the initial message was transmitted from Japan. Since then, the message has beengenerated around the world by design loving people who daily embrace peace with mind, heartand soul.“retired weapons™ @ lombardiniventidue - Design for Peace exhibition” taking place in Milan inApril 2007, is the first time for retired weapons™ to participate in an overseas event. retiredweapons™ staff is very excited and honored to be in Milan, looking forward to meet new peopleand expand friendship.
